Jeff Bishop (BDOR Limited)
Jeff has over 25 years experience of practice, training and research
in participatory working, not just in the UK but also overseas.
His work is often quoted as 'good practice'. He has written national
government and other guidelines on participation (eg. for land use
planning, air quality management and regeneration) and he has contributed
to the development of several well-known process techniques. His
research work has led to several national participatory initiatives,
for example on Village Design Statements. He also has long experience
of training at all levels and for a remarkably wide range of groups
and organizations.
Lindsey Colbourne (Lindsey Colbourne Associates)
Lindsey helped to establish the UK's first facilitator network,
the Vision 21 Facilitators Network, where she also pioneered the
use of many innovative approaches in the UK, including Open Space
and Future Search Conferencing and the use of community visioning
to enable 'lay' people to contribute to strategic debate. She is
nationally known for her work on participation in the context of
sustainable development and is a member of the Sustainable Development
Commission. Lindsey is also the coordinator of InterAct, a national
alliance of leading-edge practitioners committed to 'putting participation
at the heart of decision making in the UK'.
Richard Harris (3KQ Ltd)

Richard has 20 years experience as a facilitator and trainer in
the UK. He is a Director of 3KQ and operates across all sectors,
all levels and across most technical issues. Richard designs and
facilitates complex and contentious stakeholder engagement at the
cutting edge of the field. Richard has a particular interest in
building the capacity of organisations and individuals to deliver
stakeholder engagement initiatives directly, reducing their reliance
on external consultancies. He has been instrumental, along with
the other InterAct Network partners, in bringing about the 'mainstreaming'
of engagement within Government bodies.
Lynn Wetenhall (Lynn Wetenhall Associates)

Lynn has a passion for assisting people and organisations to work
together more effectively, particularly where they face challenges
that cut across conventional organisational or policy areas. This
applies as much to improving internal collaboration, as to disparate
organisations or partnerships working together better. The InterAct
Networks approach of building internal capacity to carry out effective
dialogue, consultation and communication of all kinds, is a critical
part of achieving the ‘holy grail’ of joined up thinking
and working. Lynn also has a particular interest in the work of
Local Strategic Partnerships and in Local Area Agreements.
